The World's Forgotten Growth
A land overgrown, conquered by beasts.
Innovations and industries of the past reclaimed by the wild.
An intruder arrives, invading, interrupting those primal feasts.
The beasts rise to keep the old ways intact, to protect the world from change like a child.
The world should not change they say, to kill or be killed is how things should be.
They turn a blind eye to the future, to the potential of change.
A static, stagnant world, deprived of its future by rulers who reject possibility.
They say the primal world of old should remain, never decay, never growing strange.
But a brand new world, a brand new age, will find its way to take root.
The old ways will die out with those who fight to make the world stagnate.
This wild, primal world doesn’t need to be tamed, but it must be nurtured to flower, not to fruit.
Forgotten like fossils, forgotten like the world. It won’t be trapped in one place by fate.
A new light dawn in the primal sky, a fire of growth and change and passion rising.
Its warmth burns away the fetid and stagnant decay and welcomes the young’s uprising.
