Just Another War

After, Old Michaelmas and MD Kerr

Ares perforated the cities and towns,
Hes crept down road from road, house to house,
Nothing could have kept him out of the minds of the people we trusted to protect us.

Their hearts sinking,
Indisposition hanging into the Junes air,
The tangling between fallopian tubes and ectopic pregnancy.

What should have been a miracle,
Morphed into tragedy;

Invoke the spell of what the United States preaches,
Freedom for all—-
But when the women call for these unalienable rights,
The Supreme Court pisses on them.
