Casey Pan - Forgotten Voices of the Sand Fairy’s (Poetry)
Forgotten Voices of the Sand Fairy’s
Whispers and blurs
Of a giver of light
Droplets of amber brilliance
Falls down her hair
Grains of sand dot the marble on her face
Eyes reflecting a believer’s hopes and dreams
Floating just on the tip of my peripherals
Just out of sight of my temple
She sat upon the tips of my fingers
Barely and fully out of reach
Farther and farther darkness clouds my vision
Blurred faces and murky mumblings
I grasp at grains of memory
Falling between my hands
Tar like night burns my soul
Watching the sun sweat light onto her body
Her solar flares turn my heart into glass
Fragile yet still soft
Moulding to the fire in your eyes
Grasping for the hope that once was
She just fell like grains of sand
Mistress of the Fallen Night
Crestfallen as the moon fades to black
Stars fall in the depths of an endless chamber of fragmented desires
Pieces and parts that can never go together
Lights of my everlasting cries end silenced by the abyss
I dance with the mistress of the fallen night
I could never face her
Only celestial midnight flowers bloomed on the back of her shoulders
A phantom dance with an empty shadow
I fall asleep never again to rise
As the dips of pearl opalescence twinkle away
Blooming Berries on the Sunset
Alone and subdued sitting on the sand
The navy-blue sky hinted to the arrival of a rising sun
Often going in with the tide swayed by the moon
The sirens cease and the whale’s croon
Voices of sapphire and onyx teeter on the tips of waves
Leaping out to pitches and chords of the streaking comets
Bushes of cloudberries rest near the edge of a sunset
Blooming towards a never-ending sea of uncertainty
